The Imperial Palace's grounds are huge and we just went to a small portion of it. The garden is easy walking distance from Tokyo Station. There are many various flowers and plants in the garden. But we only get to see a few because it's still only the winter season.
I don't have a whole lot to say about the garden. It was very beautiful but it is still winter and there was still a lot to be bloomed. That being said I did get pictures though.
This is a 'stylish dolphin' and they are all over the buildings like gargoyles.
She passed out.
Recommendation is to bring a stroller with you if you're going to bring small children.

The only cherry blossoms that were bloomed. They were really beautiful.
Pretty Pathways
There was a pond that had koi fish in it. I can imagine how lovely it is during the spring and summer months. It had what looked like it could have been a waterfall but not on or running. Because it wasn't running the pond water was murky.
I CANT BREATHE
Sooo, many slopes. My being the healthy person that I am *cough cough* went up all of them. Because I love my husband and I do honestly like to do healthy activities. It's just my body that doesn't.
The view on top of this slope-y structure was really nice though. And the field was a great laying area. Not that we got to lay there. Maybe next time though.
I Check NO!
but only during the
winter season
If this it somewhere you want to go do not go during the winter season. You won't see anything amazing and it may feel like a waste of a trip. I now live in Japan so I feel like I have the opportunity to see what the Imperial Palace East Garden has to offer. If you're visiting then that's another story. I hope to blog about it again in the up coming months.
