Travel for food. I never thought the day would come. My husband and I drove 2 hours to come to this restaurant.
One of the things that suck about living overseas is when you miss things you can't have. One of the things that I've missed is Chipotle. I went to Google and found myself a carbon copy. First off, it was in the city. So traffic was so much fun. Then we had to find parking. (By the way, there is no such thing as free parking in Japan) |
Frijoles is just like Chipotle from what I have experienced. There is only one thing that is different, the portions. The rice and beans are significantly less. The tortilla is thinner. Those are the big differences. Other then those its spot on.

What's Chipotle?
For those who haven't been to a Chipotle let me give you the run down. You first pick if you're going to have a burrito, taco, salad, or bowl. After which you pick your meat. Chicken, pork, beef, or vegetables. Or half and half. Next you pick the salsa and other toppings. It's very simple and very tasty.

I Check YES!
If you're in the Roppongi district in Tokyo I recommend going here if you want some Mexican food. Its always nice to have a little piece of home even when you travel. There is a lot of outdoor seating making it nice during the Spring and Summer months. I know that I'll be going back.
