Up until now I've lived in the hotel on base. It was for only 2 weeks; though it felt like much longer. Now we have our first apartment together. We really have a place to call home. The apartments on base are called towers. Our tower is called the Miku Tower. It's location is on the West side. Meaning we are as far away from the main facilities as we could possibly get.
While in the hotel it was an easy 5-10 minute walk to anywhere. Now the commissary is point B and we're point K. The hotel was point A. These points aren't something on a map. They are something I made up to make a point to show the distance.

Home Sweet Home
All of the apartments have two balconies. One off of the living room and one off of the master bedroom.
Our apartment is on the 7th floor and it overlooks the playground. I'm happy about having a balcony. It'll give me space to maybe do some gardening. I've always wanted to give it a go.

It's great to have my own place to call home. Lillith has her room and I have mine. I have mine that I share with my Forever Man.
Then we have the kitchen and living room that is ours. I've always wanted a home of my own. To decorate the rooms for the holidays and various events. To with as I wish. This all may sound silly but when you live at home these are a few of the little freedoms that you don't have. Just like how I didn't have control over what food was in the house. I've never felt this kind of freedom before.
There is so much storage that I don't even know what to do with all of it. I say that now but it won't take long before they all have stuff in them. All of our stuff will be here soon and I know that will fill it up.
